Ali, We can’t say thank you enough for all of your help! You truly made our big day perfect and stress free. Unlike so many of my friends, I was truly able to enjoy every minute of my wedding day, since I knew you had everything taken care of. From start to finish we loved working with you every step of the way…. from your great ideas and vendor reccomendations to seeing the final day through exactly as I had envisioned it. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Sarah and Tom
Sarah and Tom were married at the classic “Old Saint Patrick’s Church”:http://oldstpats.org in Chicago, Illinois by Tom’s family Priest, Father Charles Rubey, and Rabbi Michael Tillman. The bride looked stunning in a ivory duchess satin wedding gown and carried an elegant bouquet of gardenias, ranunculus, green hydrangea, white orchids and seasonal berries.
Following the three o’clock ceremony, guests proceeded to “The Newberry Library”:http://newberry.org for cocktails, dinner and a evening of dancing. “Levy Events”:http://levyrestaurants.com provided the catering. There was a fabulous first course of roasted butternut soup in a mini acorn squash with a mixed salad. Guests then dined on a choice of New York Strip with a Borolo Shiitake mushroom sauce or Airline Chicken Breast stuffed with spinach and green apple. Each entree was accompanied by mini new potatoes with boursin cheese and roasted asparagus.
I had never seen Ruggles Hall look so gorgeous! Decorated romantically by “Blumgarten”:http://blumgarten.com, the room was glowing with candlelight. There were hanging votives from curly willow branches and beautiful low centerpieces in green and white flowers accented each with nine votives and scattered orchids on the table.
The “Larry King Orchestra”:http://larrykingorchestra.com had the dance floor packed all night and as a special suprise, Tom serenaded Sarah by singing “Green Eyes” by Coldplay.
It was a perfect day for a perfectly wonderful couple!
