The engagements of Kate Middelton and Prince William and Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson has the internet buzzing.
Katie was proposed to by Prince William with his mother, the late Lady Diana’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring and Jessica is wearing a diamond and ruby ring. Colored gem stones are IN and they will only get more stylish for today’s brides-to-be! I myself was given a sapphire and diamond engagement ring by my husband.
While diamonds will always a girl’s best friend, why not accent it with a gorgeous gemstone like a sapphire, ruby or emerald. And with the recent engagement of Jessica and Kate, we are going to see the comeback of those gemstones being the central focus of the ring and diamonds being the accent. The colored stones add color and depth to the diamonds.
